Five Oceans needed a refresh to both their branding and packaging, with a look that reflected the quality of their product and enough contrast to jump out on the shelves.
A new packaging brand was developed that contrasted, deep, dark backgrounds with modern highlights of strong, bright colour. Vibrant food photography with a focus on home-cooked and traditional serving suggestions to draw in quick attention.
A traditional product with a look of fine dining was created with their updated packaging. Precise typography and layout with a mouth-watering serving suggestion help them stand out on the shelf, while making their brand instantly recognizable as high-quality.
5 Oceans needed food images that were fresh and vibrant – plates that jumped out from the grocery store shelf and demanded the attention of hungry shoppers passing by. This was achieved with intricate photoshopping and formatting to create a series of images that all evoked the same high-end (but still homemade) appeal.
Two sizes of tuna tin packaging were requested; something more standard for the larger catering size, and a brighter splash for the smaller grocery store tin. A co-operative design was made for each, marrying both the back-end catering and consumer-facing sides of their business.
